A weekend festival of traditional boats set in the shadow of Peel’s magnificent Castle. Enjoy a gentle programme of pure maritime nostalgia in which the sight of wind-filled canvas and sound of creaking timber masts evokes memories of a bygone age. Star of the show is the magnificent 179’ long HMS Rose, the largest active sailing ship in the world, but she has a large supporting cast. Footage includes a whistle-stop tour of the Isle of Man coast and a peek at the abundant bird and marine life.
