MERCEDES BENZ - 110 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
The first in the ‘Classics at Blackhawk’ series focuses on an exhibition at California's Behring Auto Museum during '95/95, celebrating the 110th anniversary of the invention of the motorcar by Gottlieb Daimler and Carl Benz. Gathered for the first, and probably only time, under one roof you can enjoy more than 30 superb examples of Mercedes-Benz automobiles, from the first three and four-wheeled ‘horseless carriages’ right up to the superb V12 coupe of 1996. Along the way we feature rare and spectacular cars such as the 1922 Targa Florio racer, the largest -ever gathering of the famous supercharged 540k models, a superb '50's 300SL ‘Gullwing’ coupe and from the '60's, the only Mercedes Benz ever built by Pininfarina.
