Camel Trophy - the last adventure. Every year competitors from all over the globe take part in an epic drive in a remote part of the world. All using the same vehicles, they must conquer jungle, desert, marsh and mountain.
The routes have gone through the Amazon jungle in Brazil, the dark interior of Borneo and the deserts of Australia. Camel Trophy 88 is held on the wild Indonesian island of Sulawesi, which offers a route guaranteed to try men and vehicles as never before. The UK’s team, Marc Day & Jim Benson, were up against equally tough opposition. All driving identically prepared Land Rovers so it was down to team skill and effort, not forgetting sheer guts!
